Redfern Graduates From Graduate School of Banking at Colorado

BOULDER, CO – Jason Redfern, Community President at First Southern National Bank in Princeton, Kentucky, recently graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC), a 25-month banking school which provides management and leadership training for community-banking professionals. Redfern was among 164 graduates of the 68th Annual School Session, hosted July 15-27 on the campus of the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado.

Akers and Pelphrey Named Regional Presidents

First Southern National Bank has named two veteran bankers, Arnie Akers and Jerry Pelphrey, as First Southern Regional Presidents.

Akers was first hired by First Southern National Bank in 2003 and has served as Community President in Garrard County for the greater part of his fifteen-year-tenure.  As Regional President, Akers will continue to serve in his current capacity but with additional leadership responsibilities in Lincoln, Garrard and Madison Counties.
